Is the resort open today?
Brahmaputra Jungle Resort is open everyday the entire year from 8AM to 10PM.
What is the entry fee of the resort?
Entry to the resort is free. You will be charged according to the services you avail – restaurant F&B, activities etc.
What is the resort’s operational hours?
8AM to 10AM Breakfast, 1PM to 10PM Lunch & Dinner, Snacks available throughout the day from 10 AM onwards till 10PM, Tandoor items will be available from 12PM onwards till closing. Activities such as trekking and bird watching happens only once a day – 7AM to 8AM. All other activities except elephant ride and trekking and bird watching starts at 9AM. Elephant ride starts at 12PM and ends at 5-5:30PM. Swimming pool closes at 9PM with last entry at 8PM. Outdoor Adventure activities such as ZipLine, Rock Climbing & Rappelling, archery closes at 5:30PM. Boating, fishing, shooting, water zorbing and kids activates all closes at 9PM.
What time does the activities start?

Is the swimming pool operational?
Yes, we are the only resort in the area with an operational swimming pool throughout the year. Which is regularly maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
What is the charge for swimming for adults and for kids?
250/- per head per hour.
Is swimming costume compulsory?
In swimming pools, ONLY nylon, lycra, polyester, or blends of these synthetic fabrics are allowed. These materials are designed to be quick-drying, water-resistant, and durable, which are essential for swimming attire. Wearing cotton, jeans or other natural fibers ARE NOT ALLOWED, as they can potentially introduce contaminants into the pool.
Do you serve drinks in the pool?
NO.
Is elephant ride available?
Yes, 12PM TO 5-5:30PM everyday.

Can we get alcohol from outside?
NO. Bar is available inside, all types of alcoholic beverages are available inside the resort. Bar rates applicable.
What are the prices of rooms in the resort?
Refer to tariff card. Should know all prices of rooms including gst for both EP and CP, as well as their prices at 10%, 15% and 20% discounts.
Can 5 people stay in one room?
NO. All our rooms are of double occupancy, with an extra bed maximum 3 adults can be accommodated in one room. Children below 8 years are complimentary, above 8 years are considered as adults.
Are unmarried couples allowed?
Unmarried couples with local IDs above the age of 25 years are welcome for accommodation. Unmarried couples who are tourists, coming from outside the state above the age of 21 years are welcome for accommodation. For our restaurant and other activities there is no age limit, everyone is welcome!
Is ID proof mandatory for both guests?
YES. With address proof.
Online prices are showing lower than the prices you are quoting?
Online prices are dynamic, sometimes OTAs run their own discounts so I am not sure what price you are getting online however, I can offer you a discount of 20% on room tariff and I’m pretty sure you won’t get a better rate than this, online. The prices that are shown online are not inclusive of taxes and once you make the booking the taxes will get added and the final price will end up being more.
Can we book a room only for a few hours for 6 people to celebrate a birthday party?

Currently, our rooms are available for full-day bookings only and not on an hourly basis. However, for birthday parties or small gatherings, we would be happy to suggest our party lawns or private dining spaces that can be booked for a few hours.

What is EP and what is CP?
EP – European Plan, is room only without breakfast. Only swimming pool will be complimentary for room guests with EP plan.
CP – Continental Plan, is room along with breakfast. Guests will also get complimentary activities such as boating, fishing, air rifle shooting, archery, trekking and bird watching as well as the swimming pool with CP plan.
If we book a room, will we have to pay extra for the activities?
ACTIVITY PACKAGE UNDER EP AND CP PLAN will be included with room according to the plan you choose. Any other activity which is not mentioned in the plan will be chargeable as per the actual price.
Is booking a room mandatory to come to the resort? Can we come to the resort and avail the activities and restaurant services without booking a room?
YES, ofcourse! You can come and avail all our services according to the timing and policies applicable without booking a room.
Is room decoration possible? For birthday or for anniversary? How much is the charge?
Yes, it is possible. Depends upon the type of decoration – 1000/- to 2500/-.

Yes, it is possible. Depends upon the size of the area you want to get decorated – 1000/- to 2500/-.
Can you arrange a candle light dinner? What is the charge for the same?
Yes, it is possible. 500/- to 1500/-.
Do you provide birthday/anniversary cake? What is the charge?
We do not make cakes but we can arrange the same on prior booking. A half kg cake will cost you 750/-.
Does your resort host weddings? What is the charge?
Yes, we host weddings! Please let me know your requirement and our manager will get in touch with you shortly with the availability and rates.
Does your resort host corporate retreats? What is the charge?
Yes, we do host corporate retreats. Please let me know your requirement and forward me your email id and I will share with you the quotation shortly.
Does your resort arrange family get togethers? What is the charge?
Yes, we host all kinds of family get togethers and events. Please let me know your requirement and minimum number of people and preferred menu and I will send you our best rate possible shortly.
Can we come for trekking and bird watching?
Yes, you can come for trekking and bird watching on prior booking only. It happens everyday from 7am to 8am except on Tuesdays.
Is there a dress code to be followed for trekking and bird watching?
Proper hiking shoes, trek pants and tee shirts should be worn with fly/mosquito repellent advisable..
How far is the resort from the airport/railway station?
Airport – 45KM – 1 HOUR. Railway Station – 25KM – 45MINS.
Do you get cabs to travel to and from the resort?
While coming from the city yes cabs will be available. While going back it will be subject to availability of cabs. In any case we have our own pick up and drop facility please specify your pick up/drop location and I will quote you the price accordingly.
How far is the resort from the Kamakhya temple?
41KM – 1 HOUR.
How far is the resort from Pobitora wildlife sanctuary?
33KM – 1 HOUR.
Can you book elephant and jeep safari for us at PWS?
Pobitora WS safari bookings are done online nowadays directly through their website. If you want to book offline it will cost you a bit more but our executives – 9435144216, 9706099380 will take care of it.
Do you arrange GHY local sightseeing?

Yes, we do have that facility in some of our rooms.

No, there is no hard and fast rule regarding the reservation. But it is always advisable to make one for your convenience.
Is fishing available at the resort? What is the charge for the same? Can we get our own fishing rods?
Yes, 9AM till 6PM. 100/- PER ROD PER HOUR. COST OF FISH 300/- PER KG EXTRA. YES.
How many rooms are there at the resort? We want 50 rooms in total, will you be able to accommodate our booking?
Yes, we have 37 rooms at our resort. Yes we can accommodate your booking by taking additional rooms in our nearby resorts. We will arrange for your transportation.
Is no onion no garlic food available at your resort?
Yes, we do provide no onion no garlic food. There is limited availability of options but we do provide jain food.
Is the veg and non veg kitchen same or separate?
Yes they are separate.
Can we come for picnic and cook our own food?
No, self cooking is not allowed. We will arrange everything for you.
Is outside food allowed?
No, outside food is not allowed.
Is baby food available?
Yes, we can arrange baby food for you. Or if you have any particular preference you can give it to us and we will cook it for you.
Can we book your resort for school student outing?
Yes, our resort is best suitable for school student outings where students can have fun amidst nature with our long list of activities on offer. Kindly share your size of group and requirement and I will quote accordingly.
How far is your resort from the main highway? Will we get any kind of pick up and drop facility from the highway to the resort?
Only 1.5kms from the highway. We can arrange the same just inform us in advance.
Can we take our car/bike to the main resort?
Yes ofc for bikes as well as cars just drive up on 1st gear from the main gate.
Is parking facilities available at your resort? Is it safe?
Available. Fully secured. Security is there 24×7.
Is buffet available at your restaurant?
Our restaurant serves alacarte menu. On special days of the year, such as Christmas, new years, bihu etc buffet might be available. You can call us and enquire about the same then.
